You need to be happy. I understand that. But more is NOT better with antidepressants. Remember that these medicines all interact with the serotonin in your brain.

Unlike chocolate, though, serotonin is a good thing you CAN have too much of. Serotonin syndrome is a life-threatening overload of serotonin in the body and brain. You can DIE, painfully, from this.

If your medicine is not working, ask your doctor for help. That is what they’re for. Also, there are non-chemical ways to boost your mood, such as exercise, socialising, and light therapy. Try those instead.
